Stefan Kromolicki is a public affairs consultant at APCO, and a legal and technical expert for Blockchain for Europe (BC4EU), a Brussels-based trade association representing the blockchain and crypto industry at the EU level and globally.
After a few years working at the European Central Bank on the potential impact of certain innovations on traditional financial processes, such as DLT and crypto assets, Stefan decided to combine his central banking experience with his long-standing personal interest in blockchain technology in the EU public affairs sector. Since then, he has been active in APCO and BC4EU, supporting blockchain companies engaging with policymakers and leading various legal and technical workstreams of the BC4EU, including on the decentralised finance or MICA Regulation. In his daily work, he engages with EU policymakers and regulators working on the EU crypto-asset framework and represents the interests of the broader blockchain sector.
