Alex Garmash

Alex Garmash is the Merchant Ecosystem Leader at tbi bank, where he drives strategic partnerships and business growth across Bulgaria, Romania, and Greece. With over 23 years of experience in corporate leadership and management consulting, Alex has worked across a wide range of industries—including banking, telecom, healthcare, energy, and automotive—spanning both emerging and developed markets. Before joining tbi, he held senior roles at Alvarez & Marsal and McKinsey & Company, leading large-scale transformations and turnarounds globally. He also served as COO/CFO in the automotive sector. Alex holds an MBA from London Business School and a Master’s in International Economics from Kyiv National Economic University, with additional postgraduate qualifications from Harvard, Wharton, and Oxford.
